The Irony of Irony.

Irony is a form of cowardice. It is the act of saying something and whispering 'not really' at the same time. No worthwhile, heroic or true act was ever committed with irony. Heroism is the opposite of irony. Heroism is committing to something so strongly that one must either triumph or die in the attempt.

The Irony of Irony is that the speaker thinks he is clever in saying two things at once. In reality he says nothing at all.
