Escape from freedom.

This is a window display in Hermes, in the City. Home of the handbag that costs more than your car. Such freedom.. but look closer. Look at the bondage cuff to the front.  

Do you sincerely want to be free?

Many are not so sure.

We did not evolve to deal with freedom. There is no freedom in nature- only pauses in the struggle of life.

Whenever we find freedom we find people who wish to escape it. Students, who have the world at their feet devote themselves to political Islam or Marxism- ideologies that are little more than rule books for life.

Those who have money often become drug addicts or Scientologists. Both of these states reduce the individual to the status of a dehumanized slave- but slavery makes life so simple!
